The Good And Bad Way To Communicate Through Visuals.

Communication is a major key to life. When there is no one to physically communicate an idea or event, that's where visual communication comes to play.Visual communication helps to advocate or give a better understanding of something through visuals. In order for a visual to relay it's message to it's audience, the visual must be appealing, clear, and get's to the point. A visual that does the opposite will turn people off and turn them away.

Example of a bad brochure

I believe that this a good example of a bad brochure because the visual is too cluttered. The font that they used in this brochure is not appealing to the eye. The background for this brochure in my opinion is very childish. If I was to see this brochure, I would be turned off and not be interested anymore.

Example of a bad flyer

This is a perfect example of a bad flyer. The reason I believe that this a bad flyer because this flyer is doing absolutely too much. I don't wants going, or what's being promoted. Only thing that I can see clearly is the fact that the event us Saturday November 24th 2012, that's it. I personally would be turned off about this event and not take this event serious.

Example of a Bad Business Card

This is another example of a bad visual. This business card looks very childish because of it's font and it's background. Granted the font allows you to see all the information clearly, but it fails to inform it's audience, in my opinion. The business card says "Rick Dees says... Bring the savings home," but I don't understand what the business card if advertising or promoting. The lack of understanding this card, would turn me off.

Example of a Good Brochure

This brochure is a example of good brochure. I love the visuals on this brochure. It catches my eye and attention, and also relays the message of what the brochure is trying to communicate to its audience. The information is not cluttered and very simple. The use of different colors for the font, in my opinion would catch people attention, and deter them from being bored while reading this brochure.

Example of A Good Flyer

When planning a party it is important to create a flyer to inform your target audience what your event is all about. I choose this flyer as an example of what a good flyer look like because this a is a type of flyer that will catch people attention. Not only does the color pop out, but the font does also. Different type of font keeps the flyer from looking boring and attractive. The image used in this flyer also was a eye catcher. This of type of image allows the flyer to entice whoever is looking at it.

Example of a good business card

Lastly, this business card is an good example of what a good business card should look like. The business card gets straight to business, with the information and image. The title of the business card relays the information that this business card is about pest control, and the image also relays that same message. This image alone would have instantly caught my eye. The font in my opinion is very nice and appropriate for this card. The information isn't too cluttered, and is very simple.
